Tie Back Lanyard

Tie Back Lanyard

Miller® has identified one of the most common "bad" practices of working at height being that of tying back a standard lanyard over an anchorage point. The Tie Back lanyard combats this practice featuring a revolutionary hook which has been developed to remove the risks involved in tying back.

  • Compact Energy absorber which keeps forces below 6kN in the even of a sustained fall.
  • Robust hook which will sustain forces of 22kN at any angle within the body of the hook - even the gate.
  • The hooks gate opening is below the profile of the hooks body, preventing unsolicited damage to the gate.
  • Greater flexibility at the job site – only 1 harness and 1 lanyard required to work at height.
  • Less equipment and less set up time.
  • Reduces the amount of equipment needed.
  • Easier, faster training & inspection.
  • More economical.
  • Robust 35mm blue polyester webbing.

Applications

  • Any work at height application.
  • EWP work.
  • Scaffolding.
  • Tower Work.
  • Construction & Maintenance.
  • Work Positioning & restraint applications.
